There’s no guarantee you can recover it, but if you can obtain the IP address assigned to your computer since the theft, then the police can track its location. You can greatly improve your chances of recovery if you prepare your computer BEFORE it’s stolen.

Strongest:

Preinstall tracing software that “phones home”. This allows you to trace your computer’s location. There are several options. Contact us if you would like our help.

Less Strong:

Contact your ISP (Internet service provider) to see if the thief has accessed the Internet using your internet service. You may be able to trace it, but with more difficulty. Contact us if you would like our help.
